You will need to register before playing to be insured. Players who have not registered will not be permitted to compete.

Please Note: As stated in the 'By Laws' provided by NHRU under section 5.1.4 - No Player who registers with a club after the 30th of June can qualify to play in Finals.

Registration occurs via the Rugby Xplorer website or by downloading the Rugby AU app on your smart phone and searching for "Griffins". Annual registration costs per player will be confirmed before the season starts.  Our fee includes affiliation to:

• Newcastle and Hunter Rugby

• NSW Rugby Union

• Australian Rugby Union

Each player will receive basic personal injury insurance. Your Griffins club fee contributes to referee costs, dry cleaning, council fees and other costs of running the club, including many social events during the year.  Each player also receives a generous club merchandise kit.

Training is held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6PM at Dangar Park, Mayfield. For further details please email us at newcastlegriffins@gmail.com  

Pre-season training commences in January. Locations are varied, so get in contact for details.
